Supercar driver accused of ramming camouflaged police vehicles

A man driving a McLaren Coupe supercar allegedly rammed two unmarked police vehicles in Melbourne’s northwest.

The driver has been charged over the incident, which began yesterday when police observed the car on Milleara Road in Keilor Downs about 1.30pm.

They attempted to intercept the 32-year-old driver, before he allegedly rammed two unmarked police cars while trying to flee the scene.

The officers inside the vehicles were not injured.

Police searched the McLaren and confiscated a firearm and drugs.

The man has been charged with drugs, firearms and driving offences.

He is due to appear in court today.
