Oklahoma offensive lineman commits to Tennessee

Seeking discussion on the most recent commitment to the Tennessee Soccer program?

There’s a GoVols247 podcast for that.

GoVols247’s Ben McKee (from his new home studio) and Ryan Callahan (from his home daycare) reunited through the magic of the Internet to discuss the most recent commitment to the Tennessee football program: Antoni Kade Ogumoroan offensive lineman from Elgin High School in Elgin, Oklahoma.

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Ogumoro received nearly 20 offers but ultimately chose the Vols over Oklahoma and North Carolina. While an Oklahoma high school star turning down the Sooners seems surprising on the surface, it’s worth remembering that Ogumoro comes from a military family and has lived in many places in his young life. However, for the next four years, the Vols expect him to live in Knoxville.

Ogumoro, the nation’s No. 495 overall prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite in 2025, has been one of the biggest names on Tennessee’s O-line board for a while, and the Vols were happy to land his commitment before he and his family took an extended vacation to his Pacific island home. The episode discusses Ogumoro’s status as a prospect, what Tennessee sees in him, what he sees in Tennessee, his positional future, and the Vols’ recruiting situation up front and elsewhere.

As always, there is a lot to discuss and this episode breaks down a lot.

GoVols247’s next podcast will be posted on Wednesday, unless there’s some big news before then.
