Chicago Fire Boss talks about the show’s most painful exit

It’s safe to say that Chicago Fire’s twelfth season will forever be remembered as one of the most bittersweet. With so many cast departures combined with some of the sweetest events in the characters’ lives, the show has taken its viewers on a rollercoaster of emotions, leaving them eager to see more.

Fortunately, NBC has already made a decision and officially renewed all One Chicago shows for another year. The only thing viewers are hoping for is a little more stability in Firehouse 51, however, with the new Chief taking Boden’s place, that may not be the case at all.
