At least 5 people shot and 2 dead in shooting at Delaware County Linen in Chester, sources say

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) — At least five people were shot and two died after a workplace shooting at the Delaware County Linen in Chester Wednesday morning, sources told CBS News Philadelphia.

Sources say the alleged shooter was a disgruntled employee. Investigators believe the motive was a labor dispute, according to sources.

Sources say the shooter was arrested in Trainer, Delaware County.

The shooting occurred shortly before 9 a.m. in the 2600 block of West 4th Street.

Most of the available police officers in the area were dispatched to the area and a call for help was put out to the entire county, sources said.

A spokesman for the city of Chester said the victims were taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center. The extent of his injuries is unclear.
