Central Illinois will see several chances for wet weather heading into Memorial Day weekend | Featured stories

(WAND) – Morning sunshine will give way to more clouds today and some scattered showers and storms this afternoon. High temperatures will not be as warm as yesterday, reaching a high of 70 degrees. He the wind won’t be that strong either.

Sunny Thursday will warm us up to 80 degrees.

Showers and storms are likely Thursday night and Friday and some of Friday’s storms could be strong to severe in the afternoon.







Temperature trend May 22

We may have a dry day on Saturday before more showers and storms return on Saturday night and Sunday. We will once again see stronger storms on Sunday.

While a rain or storm on Memorial Day can’t be ruled out, we could end up dry.

Highs for Memorial Day weekend will be in the 70s.
